Overview

Digital Marketing Fundamentals 200 Program at Glenn College is an advanced diploma program that provides students with both foundational and specialized skills required for success in the digital marketing industry. Students will study digital strategy, branding, social media marketing, marketing automation, SEO, analytics, and integrated communication planning. The program combines theoretical study with practical, hands-on projects and concludes with a cooperative work experience placement.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

  • Apply core marketing concepts to real-world business contexts.
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to define target audiences.
  • Develop and optimize digital content for different marketing platforms.
  • Create, manage, and analyze social media marketing campaigns.
  • Implement basic SEO techniques to improve online visibility.
  • Design strategic, user-centered websites using contemporary web tools.

  • Minimum 18 years old

Language Proficiency Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following:

  • BC English 12 with a minimum C+ grade
  • IELTS 5.5
  • TOEFL iBT 46–59
  • Duolingo English Test score of 95–100

  • Minimum 70% passing grade for each course

  • Co-op Work Experience Hours: 480 hours (20 weeks)
  • Total Program Hours: 960 hours over approximately 44 weeks (1 year)

* Students will enter into a second enrollment contract after completing 50% of the first contract, as per PTIRU regulations.
