Entrance TEST

Glenn College administers an in-house entrance assessment to ensure that all applicants meet the minimum admission requirements for their chosen programs.


This process is conducted in compliance with the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) requirements and aligns with the approved program outlines.

To apply for the test, you need to:

  • Login to your account 
  • Go to My Page
  • Go to Apply for Entrance test
  • Choose the appropriate test then click apply
  • Wait until the status changes to Start Test
  • Click Start Test to start the test (Time limit: 60mins)

Who Must Take the Entrance Test?

Applicants who do not meet standard academic or English language proficiency admission criteria 

(e.g., high school diploma, external English tests like TOEFL/IELTS/ TOEIC) may be required to complete Glenn College’s in-house assessment.

 

Programs that may require the in-house test include (but are not limited to):

    • Online TESOL Program
    • Online TESOL Training Program
    • Online Business ITT Foundation (L3)
    • Online Business Translation Program (GITA L1, L2)
    • Online Business Interpretation Program (GITA L1, L2)
    • Medical English
    • Hospitality Foundation 100
    • Hospitality Fundamentals 200
    • Hospitality Management Diploma
    • Digital Marketing Fundamentals 200
    • Digital Marketing 400

Test Format

  • Duration: Approximately 60–90 minutes
  • Delivery: Online or Onsite (at Glenn College campuses)
  • Type:
    • Multiple Choice Questions (Reading & Listening)
    • Short Writing Task (Essay or Short Response)
    • Long Writing Task (Translation )

Passing Standard

Applicants must achieve a minimum overall score of 70% on the entrance test to meet the admission requirement for their chosen program.

    • A score of 70% or higher is required for all programs unless otherwise specified in the program outline.
    • If applicants score below 70%, they may be advised to retake the test.

After you have finished your test, you need to:

  • Go to My Page and click on My result
  • Contact Admissions if you wish to re-take the test.
  • Apply for the program you are looking for
  • Wait for the response from our Admissions
