Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – February 27, 2025 – GC Education Center (Global On Education), jointly operated by Canada-based Glenn College and Global College, officially opened its direct Vietnam branch on February 27, 2025. Following the launch of its Korea branch in September 2023, this expansion marks a significant milestone in the center’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the Southeast Asian education market.
The grand opening ceremony was attended by over 50 distinguished guests, including representatives from 10 universities in Ho Chi Minh City, VIPs such as local police authorities, and more than 200 students from Vietnam and Myanmar. The event featured a presentation on the vision and role of GC Education Center in the Vietnamese education landscape, as well as the signing of new MOUs with local academic institutions.
Adding a touch of K-culture, popular Korean beauty brand Black Rouge sponsored the event, further elevating the festive atmosphere.
The newly opened Vietnam branch will provide a range of globally recognized programs, including Online TESOL, Translation & Interpretation, Hospitality, and Digital Marketing, directly to Vietnamese students. The center will also operate an online admission consultation hub to support students in enrollment and ongoing academic success.
With this launch, GC Education Center plans to strengthen its existing partnerships with 17 universities across Vietnam, including Bach Khoa College, Cofer College, and Dalat University. The partnerships aim to develop joint academic programs, provide credit-transfer opportunities, and support international study pathways.
Glenn College, located in British Columbia, Canada, is a certified private post-secondary institution recognized by the PTIRU and EQA, allowing for academic credit recognition and eligibility for student and work visas in Canada. Its sister institution, Global College, offers ESL and pre-professional language training and is well known for international English camps.
The Vietnam branch aims to deliver education that meets Canadian standards while addressing the growing local demand for professional training in TESOL and Hospitality. Through the direct local presence, GC Education Center seeks to offer structured learning opportunities and further enhance its global academic network.
Cofer College, one of its partner institutions, successfully operated the Digital Marketing Foundation program in 2024, graduating approximately 300 students—a significant milestone in bilateral academic cooperation.
