On the morning of March 25, 2024, Kent International College in Vinh proudly welcomed a delegation from Glenn College, Canada, for an official visit aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation and exploring future academic collaboration.
The leadership team at Kent International College warmly received the Glenn College delegation, with the meeting opening with an introduction by Ms. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Quyên, Acting President of Kent International College. She shared a comprehensive overview of Kent’s history, development in the field of education, and its core strengths—particularly its two flagship academic programs: the High-Quality Official Training Program and the NCFE-accredited program from the UK. She also emphasized the college’s “Learn with Substance – Practice in Reality” approach, which has successfully trained over 20,000 highly skilled and career-ready graduates in aviation, business, tourism, creative industries, and more—making Kent one of Vietnam’s most attractive institutions for prospective students nationwide.
Representing Glenn College were Mr. Lee Sungkoo, President of Glenn College, and Mr. Joseph Nguyễn, the College’s official representative in Vietnam. The Glenn College team provided an overview of their institution, which is a Canadian government-recognized career college delivering internationally standardized training through English-language programs such as TESOL and ESL. They highlighted Glenn’s commitment to global career education and expressed a strong desire to collaborate closely with Kent International College in developing joint initiatives.
During the working session, both institutions engaged in productive discussions about expanding academic opportunities for students. Key topics included introducing Glenn College’s advanced programs to Kent students, developing standardized skill sets for professional roles, exploring student exchange opportunities, and ensuring quality control in assessments, program outcomes, and career support after graduation.
At the close of the meeting, representatives from both colleges exchanged commemorative gifts and agreed to schedule follow-up meetings to further define cooperation strategies. This visit marks a significant step in strengthening international academic ties and creating a framework for meaningful collaboration in vocational education between Vietnam and Canada.
