I just finished the whole course a few days ago, and wanted to say thank you for all the entertaining and helpful lessons! I’m still a high school student actually, but had been longing to take this course because I was thinking I might be an English teacher someday in Japan or teach some students online. And I’ve learned SO MUCH through this online course! Every information was new to me since I’m still a high school student and have never been an English teacher. But all of your videos were entertaining and easy to understand. Also, I really liked how you showed respect and consideration to your viewers. (I could tell from your choice of words!) Not only you told us to do so in the lesson, but you really showed us by your example. And you paraphrased all the difficult words to make sure everyone understands, which is very kind and thoughtful.

The online BITK program has really made me realize that I had been learning English in the wrong way. The teachers show us how to truly understand English, how we use it, and when we use it, instead of just memorizing like lots of students do. I feel really proud of my progress and wish I had taken this program sooner!

I wanted to write to you to show my appreciation for providing us with such a great class and experience. Although I will be starting off with just weekend teaching online (office job has to take priority during the week) I will eventually move to Korea and teach at a school there. After a couple years experiencing the ESL scene in Korea, I will open my own cram school so wish me luck. I think your lessons will be extremely useful in achieving my dream/goal in life! After taking the TESOL course, I’ve gained a lot of valuable knowledge. I was able to understand how to organize a lesson plan and apply some teaching tactics in teaching a lesson. The most impressive thing to me was that I could have a chance to take a small quiz at the end of every module. It helped me to review and remember everything I’ve learned. Teacher’s comments were very detailed and helpful, too. The teacher is very dedicated and inspired! The way he teaches doesn’t seem too difficult for me to understand and imagine what he said. Another great thing about the course is that every lesson is limited to just 20–30 minutes, which is very good for me because it’s not too long to become bored. Overall, this course is perfect and helpful.

If you want to learn a lot of English WELL and have fun doing, take a GC online program! I have taken the Business and the online TESOL and each one has been helpful in their own way. To be honest, I was expecting a boring lecture that would be hard to focus on, but because of convenience I decided to take the online program. However, the teachers explain the lessons very clearly so it is easy to follow and understand, they are very personal and fun so being bored is not a problem. Not only that but they highlight some important points and use subtitles so I do not get lost or misunderstand while watching the videos. The feedback on tests, quizzes, and the Q & A board are also very helpful! More help than I ever got in a classroom!

I am currently taking the online BITK program level 1,2 and have completed BITK level 3. At first I struggled with the level 3 program but Grace Connor and Hana made a concept like translation and interpretation easy to understand and practice. What I enjoy the most is although I am not in a classroom ? it feels like I am! They point out and answer the questions I am thinking. You can tell they are all experienced instructors that know this program and the students inside and out. I am feeling energized and excited to complete the program for level 1,2.

As a working mother of a young child, it was never easy to complete the course on time,( and I did it anyway) but I could truly enjoy every second thanks to your wonderful lecture. Also as a cabin crew trainer in an airline, I could reflect myself and felt terrible about what I had done for my ex-trainees. (especially for the weak ones) I think this online TESOL program can be a great tool for all kinds of teachers, facilitators, and trainers, not only for the ones who teach English. GC online TESOL teacher was the best teacher I ever had! Even compared to programs I have had in classrooms. I was an English teacher in Japan, I knew some skills for teaching, but I realized many new skills and also I learned from Allan how the teacher should make learning more fun for students and create a better atmosphere overall. He gave us lots of advice and ideas for lesson plans, they were ideas I had never heard of or thought of before, but in using what I learned I have been able to create the best lesson plans in my entire teaching career!
